Do you need a secure password database?

SPS - The secure store for your passwords! A password database that's encrypted using AES 256 bit keys.
SPS - The secure store for your passwords! A password database that's encrypted using AES 256 bit keys.

Consider this..

How do you remember your pass codes, user names and passwords? Do you trust them all to memory? Do you write them down on paper and hide them? Are your Bank codes weakly hidden as telephone numbers in the back of your diary? Do you use a clever system or sequence for remembering and setting your passwords? Do you use the same password all the time?

How can you be sure others cannot decode your amateur attempts at cryptography? How can you be sure that your system is secure? If an attacker gains access to a password in your sequence, are all your passwords then compromised as a result?

Do you struggle to remember all those user names, passwords and pass codes that modern life has forced on you? Do you end up forgetting them sometimes? Do you feel as though your mind is failing? Do you occasionally get locked out of web sites because you entered the wrong password? Do you forget Bank codes and web retailer passwords right at the moment when you need to use them? Do you, simply, have too much to remember?

Our award winning, ultra-secure, password database - SPS - is the answer. It's secure, speedy, small and simple!

SPS is the answer..

Try counting all the information you need to remember - you might be amazed to discover you have many more complex user name and password combinations than you first think. If you answered 'yes' to the previous questions you need a high quality password database. It must be quick, easy to use and take up a small screen area so it can be readily called upon during an online transaction.

Critical personal data will be stored on your PC or laptop but what happens if it gets lost or stolen or falls into the wrong hands? SPS uses a superior, state-of-the-art encryption system to completely protect your data from any possible attack. SPS uses nothing less than the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with a 256 bit key to make the encryption ultra secure! Note that many Banks will not use such a superFriday, July 14, 2006close to the vast level of protection that SPS uses.

Let SPS help reduce the chance of 'Identity Theft' by allowing you to use far more complex passwords than you would normally consider. With SPS, you can also reduce the effectiveness of 'Key Loggers' - these are tools hackers can use to record key presses on your keyboard - like your passwords! If you let SPS store your passwords then you can, simply, copy and paste or drag and drop your passwords onto the target without typing them in so they will not be recorded by any Key Logger. By putting SPS on a removable drive, you can further protect against Identity Theft and your data conveniently follows you rather than leave it on a PC.

SPS is a mature product, excellent value for money and compact and painless to use on Windows PCs. Purchasing one licence entitles an individual to, personally, use SPS on as many PCs as required. You will not find an existing password database utility anywhere that has all the features of SPS.

SPS key features

Ease of use: SPS is made as quick and easy as possible to use. In particular, optimized window layouts are straightforward and compact and common tasks are designed to be carried out fast!

Security:
SPS uses the ultra-secure AES 256bit key encryption system for saving your data files to disc. Not convinced? See the AES page for information from sources other than Anobyte. SPS does not offer weak encryption as an option.
Security: Data left in the computer's memory, including the Windows Clipboard, that could be useful to an attacker is over-written with garbage and then wiped when finished with.
Security: The database and its records are protected by MD5 error detection - SPS will tell you if any of your data has been altered or tampered with!
Security: SPS uses key enhancement. A unique feature to improve the quality of your SPS user name and password when encrypting your data.
Security: There are many other advanced security features used in SPS that we keep secret in order to maximize their effectiveness. To give you an idea of the lengths Anobyte has gone to in SPS, you can even opt to wipe the Windows Paging File on shutting off your PC with newer versions of Windows!

Ease of use:
Perform fast searches for text in the database with a simple to use, but powerful, search capability.
Ease of use: Allow SPS to start up other applications and fill in logon information and forms automatically. This feature uses a generic technique to allow operation with most applications.
Ease of use:
Can't think of good passwords? SPS has a built-in, fully configurable password generator to do that work for you..automatically.

Flexibility:
Your data is not trapped in SPS. If you need access to it in another application, SPS databases can be imported and exported using a common spreadsheet file format or a script file which can be read and edited using a text editor or word processor.
Flexibility: SPS use is not restricted to just one application. Unlike some features built in to other applications, use SPS where, when and how you like!
Flexibility: If the default SPS database doesn't satisfy your needs, create a new one! The creation script can be edited allowing for database customization. New and existing SPS database structures can be altered too using a simple spreadsheet-like tool.

Award winner: Don't take our word for how good SPS is..look at how others rate SPS on our awards page!

Try SPS for free for 30 days. Don't take our word for how good SPS is..try it yourself! The trial period allows for a complete personal evaluation. No features are disabled during the trial period so you can build up a good idea of the program's capabilities and properly determine if it fits your needs.

Screen shot
This picture clearly shows the extreme simplicity of the user interface. It is designed such that only the five buttons shown will be needed in normal use and even they are optional. Common operations can also be carried out using right click context menus. Rarely used or more advanced control is available from the menus at the top.

Note:

SPS will not have the rounded Windows XP appearance on older Windows operating systems. The exact appearance of SPS is determined by the theme and color scheme you have chosen for your PC - in this case the Microsoft 'Royale' theme was used for the display..
Field contents (shown in the mid left hand pane) are samples only and are text fields you can fill out as required.
